Today quite by chance while surfing the yahoo news I came across a news article or two discussing the legal settlement between the trustee's of the Tolkien Estate and New Line Cinema.

The results of the settlement means the trustee's of the Tolkien Estate can continue in their charitable objectives and New Line Cinema can now proceed with work on "The Hobbit" movies, yeah!!.

One downside though it could be quite sometime with the making of the movies until it hits the big screen. Oh well good job there are plenty Tolkien books and computer games to play till then :O)
